Empyrean Integrations
QuickBooks integration privacy notice
Effective October 12, 2026. The production connection is not yet live.
This notice describes how EVI EIP Books will handle business accounting data when an authorized QuickBooks company is connected.
Scope and roles
Empyrean LLC publishes and operates this internal integration for Empyrean Ventures, Inc. (EVI). It applies only to data accessed from a QuickBooks Online company that an authorized administrator selects and connects. It does not cover patient treatment records, Ellie corporate systems, the separate Google integrations, or Intuit's own data practices.
Data and purpose
The initial connection will use QuickBooks Online Accounting authorization to read company identification, chart-of-accounts entries, general-ledger detail and trial-balance totals. These records can contain account names, transaction dates, amounts, payees or other business-financial details. The purpose is EVI internal reporting, reconciliation and close support.
The pilot is intended to expose only approved read operations in EIP; the Accounting authorization scope itself is broader and does not technically enforce read-only behavior. This integration will not use the QuickBooks Payments scope in the pilot. Payroll, payment execution, bank-feed mutation and journal posting are outside this described pilot.
Handling and sharing
Intuit authenticates the QuickBooks user. The integration needs a company identifier and OAuth credentials to maintain the connection; it does not need the user's QuickBooks password. Access must be limited to authorized operators and the selected EVI company. Credentials and accounting data must not be published in this website or ordinary support email.
Selected accounting data may be processed by EVI's internal reporting systems and, when an authorized user requests an assistant workflow, by the chosen assistant provider to produce the requested analysis. Such processing is not a sale of QuickBooks data or permission to use it for advertising. Before connecting a production company, Empyrean LLC will verify the hosting location, storage controls and assistant-provider path against the deployed implementation and update this notice if its disclosures materially change.
Retention and disconnection
Connection credentials should be retained only while the connection is authorized and needed. Business records and derived reports may be retained for EVI's legitimate accounting and legal-record purposes; disconnecting the app does not automatically delete reports already created. An authorized administrator can disconnect the application in QuickBooks. The operator must then revoke or remove connection credentials under its control and handle retained data according to applicable EVI recordkeeping obligations.
To request access, correction, disconnection or deletion of retained integration data, contact jacob.jones@empyreanconsulting.com without sending passwords or sensitive exports. We will verify authority and explain any records that must be kept.
Changes and contact
Material changes in data categories, purposes, or write capabilities require review and an updated notice before use. Questions: Empyrean LLC, jacob.jones@empyreanconsulting.com.
